The Digital Media Design Program at Central Ohio Technical College has just added a fully-equipped screen printing lab donated by Press A Print. Students can now see how their digital designs look when they're printed. The new lab is part of the DMD program's commitment to preparing students for a career in digital design. The Digital Media Design curriculum at Central Ohio Technical College is a broad-based and intensive exploration of the process and the business digital design. The program is focused on developing the student's technical skills and creative vision, with an emphasis on building a portfolio that will prepare the student to enter the workforce or continue their education. Program options include Web Design, Web Development, Digital Graphics, and Game Design. The program is available on all four of COTC's central Ohio campuses in Newark, Coshocton, Pataskala, and Mt. Vernon.

Part of the 2015: Millennium Development Goals co-produced by Cortlan McManus of ReBirth Cinema and the United Nations multi-media project. Shot in Egypt, Yemen, Jordan and Morocco over a period of many months, this project worked directly with non-professional actors and crew members to include their voices on one of the most important global initiatives of the 21st Century. The James M. DuPont Meteorite Collection - eclipse cruise in 1998, and to Turkey in 2000. Meteorite study has been a cornerstone of our scientific inquiry. On Christmas Day 1995, Mrs. Violetta DuPont gifted the James M. Henize Observatory at Harper College for its 10 years of operation, bringing a close-up view of the heavens to over 20,000 visitors. Construction of the Gannon Vocational-Technical Center was completed in 1975. (The physical education portion of the building and the parking ramp were finished a year later.) It is named in honor of the college's first president, Philip J. Gannon, and is currently referred to as the Gannon Building (GB). This change was made as a result of the vocational and technical programs that originally operated in the building being moved to West Campus in 2004-2005. The building serves as a "one-stop" source for student services at the college.

The panel explored "Presidential Powers and the Bush Legacy," and Dr. Nelson presented a paper titled, "Vice-Presidential Power: The Unique Role of Richard Cheney." Michael Nelson is the Fulmer Professor of Political Science at Rhodes College. He teaches courses on U.S. Politics (151), the American Presidency (340), and Southern Politics (245). In addition, he teaches in the College’s humanities course, The Search for Values in the Light of Western History and Religion, and is the coauthor of a book about the Search course, Celebrating the Humanities: A Half Century of the Search Course at Rhodes College (1996). When Vijay Kumar was awarded his medical doctrine degree at Xavier University School of Medicine, the achievement added to noteworthy academic and professional competencies. Kumar already held a doctorate in social sciences, a masters in physical therapy along with several post graduate degrees in medicine, and was recognized in 2004 as United States' Businessman of the Year Award. While pursuing his degree, Kumar continued his business of 17 years - managing four busy outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation clinics offering a range of services covering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and social worker services. He remained on the Xavier University President's list throughout his studies; the M.D. award was bestowed in an event in June held at The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. In 2006, Dr. Kumar by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Board of Physical Therapy, and his appointment has been extended through 2012 on in Michigan. He holds a position on the disciplinary subcommittee which oversees over 7,900 licensed physical therapists in the state. Selected as an alternate delegate in 2007 to the annual FSBPT (Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy), this year he attended as a delegate official. The FSBPT is a committee that represents all licensing authorities and the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy which strives to protect the public by providing service and leadership that promote safe and competent physical therapy practice. Noted for his patient-focused manner, hard work and ethical standards, Kumars roots stretch around the world to Bihar, India, where he is originally from. Dr. Kumar is a life member of the Indian Physiotherapy Association, member of the American Physical Therapy Association, member of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association along with various community associations.
